Verizon logoIf you’re the kind of person who streams videos and music onto your mobile device frequently, and you’re on Verizon’s network, you might want to grab some tissues to prepare yourself for some bad news. Verizon’s CFO has recently confirmed that the carrier will be discontinuing their unlimited data plans, discarding them in favor of tiered data plans. No details were given on the new plans and rates, but expect the unlimited data plan to end by this summer. The good news is that existing contract holders will probably be able to keep their unlimited data – at least until their contract expires and they sign a new one. How much data do you use on your mobile phone each month?
