sgs4-testWe’re sure that you guys know that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be launched in two variants – one with the South Korean company’s latest Exynos 5 Octa-core chipset, and the other with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 600. While the Snapdragon 600 is a powerful chipset in its own right, it seems that the Exynos version has outperformed it. These benchmarks are courtesy of SamMobile’s insider who managed to benchmark the Exynos variant on AnTuTu, resulting in a score of 28,018. The Qualcomm version on the other hand appears to have scored only 23,607. However it should be noted that since both chipsets are incredibly powerful, the average user will probably not be able to tell the difference between either, although on paper it would seem as though those with the Qualcomm version might be getting the short end of the stick. Then again, these are preliminary benchmarks and we will probably need to check the collective results from various reviews and testings before a more decisive conclusion can be drawn.
