The Puccini tablet is certainly well known as it is supposed to be successor to the HTC Flyer. Not much is known about the device except that it will be 10-inches in size and will most probably be running on Android’s Honeycomb operating system. However a recent FCC filing has revealed that the HTC Puccini will be sporting GSM 850/1900 and 3G WCDMA 850/1900 radios, along with AWS radios supporting bands 4 and 17, hardware that seems primed for AT&T’s upcoming 4G LTE network.

With the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G LTE headed to Verizon’s direction, we’re guessing this could probably be AT&T’s response. Apart from that, the FCC filing also indicates dual-speakers and a regular camera, which means we don’t think HTC will be going the 3D route with this one. Unfortunately that’s pretty much all we know about it, and still no word on availability or pricing, but if the FCC filing is any indication, it may very well be soon.
