The SG-2520 is a dual-mode GSM/satellite cellphone that can function virtually anywhere on earth, whether you are at the top of of the world or looking for diamonds in the bowels of the earth. Whenever the reception is clear enough, the SG-2520 will function as an ordinary cellphone. It will switch to the satellite cellphone mode when the regular connection gets dodgy, doing away with the need for extra-expensive roaming services. The SG-2520 also boasts multimedia features such as voice communication, data transfer, fax, packet data transfer, GPS, USB, MP3 playback, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 1.3 megapixel camera. The SG-2520 should launch next year. Pictures courtesy of Aving.
