For AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket owners, you now have another reason to smile besides owning an awesome phone. You can now get the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update on your handset which has come about by way of a leak. The leaked official update pack carries a March 14 2012 build date.

So along with the original Samsung Galaxy SII, the LTE Skyrocket version of the handset is also part of the list of devices that will get the official update. Along with the update itself, the bundle will also come with full installation instructions and download mirrors from the leak source. For those of you interested in performing this installation, you can use Odia to install the software update pack on your device.

Features on the updated version for the Skyrocket such as NFC and Google Wallet are reportedly working fine and it seems that for now that will do. Meanwhile, there is still no inkling of news regarding an official release of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update pack for the Galaxy SII Skyrocket but with this leak, maybe it is only a matter of time.
