Samsung Galaxy S3 Hits the FCC

For those awaiting the Samsung Galaxy S3 in the US, it seems like that development has taken another move in the right direction. The latest flagship device from Samsung just hit the FCC. From the report by the organization in all their detail-oriented glory, it shows that the smartphone supports AT&T’s HSPA+ radios but this particular one will not work on T-Mobile so those users are likely to be stuck on EDGE. On top of that, many rumors have been circulating around the internet about all four major carriers in the US getting the smartphone in addition to a number of smaller carriers.

Beyond that however, there has been no official announcement about it. The question that remains on the other hand is whether the smartphone that will be coming will feature the quad-core processor by Samsung which is devoid of LTE capability or the rumored dual-core processor by Qualcomm which allows LTE connectivity. Now that the device has made its way over to the FCC and came out the other side, it seems that the release date for the smartphone can’t be that far off in the horizon.
