Acer Liquid Glow Appears at the FCC

If you can remember when we covered the Mobile World Congress earlier this year, there was a device that was announced called the Acer Liquid Glow. To refresh your memory, the Android-based smartphone features a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a single-core 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of built-in storage, a 5MP camera with an LED flash, NFC and it is running Ice Cream Sandwich.

During MWC, Acer mentioned that the device would be available this summer and it seems to be right on schedule because the latest news indicates that the smartphone has been spotted over at the FCC. From the reports attached to the discovery, it seems that there is no information with regards to any carrier badging and in addition to that, the manual along with its attached photos come with a 180-day confidentiality seal. It seems like it has gone through the watchful eyes of everyone there and come out the other side. Given this news, does this mean that we could be seeing Acer’s Liquid Glow in the US within the next couple of months?
