Sony Xperia Shakes its Booty for the FCC

Many of us were hoping for the Sony Xperia U to hit the States soon, now it seems that it has made its way to the FCC so we can expect it to arrive over the next month or so. There isn’t much that we don’t know about the entry-level device which runs Android Gingerbread. The folks over at the FCC tore apart the phone and it revealed some old Ericsson parts from its old partner in crime. That said, the company probably doesn’t see any harm in using old parts as long as they are not within clear view from the outside. From the photos, it seems that there were no outstanding or troublesome issues with the phone and it should be on schedule to hit shelves sooner than later.
