Motorola unveils LAPDOCK 100

With our smartphones getting smarter by the day, it looks like Motorola wants to turn you current Motorola smartphones in powerhouses via the Motorola LAPDOCK 100. Granted this isn’t exactly new technology, this will definitely sit well with users who may want a larger screen and keyboard to accompany their smartphones.

As the name implies, it’s merely a dock that looks like a laptop when fully opened, as pictured above. Motorola has said that it will work with a variety of Motorola Android smartphones, such as the Atrix 2, Photon 4G and the Droid Bionic along with future webtop-enabled Motorola devices. It is expected to be available in AT&T’s online store come 17th of October, with Verizon and Sprint receiving theirs some time later this quarter.
