I suppose if you have been on the lookout for a Windows Phone-powered device for the longest time, you would have had set your eyes on what Nokia – and subsequently Microsoft, have up their sleeves. Microsoft’s most recent foray in this department comes in the form of the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL, where they will arrive in single-SIM and dual-SIM LTE and dual-SIM 3G variants. The Lumia 640 XL will be out as a single-SIM 3G variant, with pricing set to vary by market and operator; while the Lumia 640 is tipped to cost approximately 139 euros for the 3G model and 159 euros for the LTE model. As for the Lumia 640 XL, it will cost around 189 euros for 3G and 219 euros for LTE.

Both of these handsets are said to be powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, with 1GB RAM accompanying it. The Lumia 640 XL will be the larger of the two – obviously, which means they will feature a 5.5″ and 5″ HD display, a 13MP Zeiss and 8MP camera, and 3,000mAh and 2,500mAh batteries, respectively. While these handsets will arrive with Windows Phone 8.1 right out of the box alongside the Lumia Denim update, do expect them to also play nice with the Windows 10 update when that happens.
