Ematic EWT716 Arrives At The FCC

Ematic does have its fair share of affordable tablets for the masses, although these tend to be tablets that run on the Android mobile operating system. Having said that, it is rather interesting to see how Ematic has branched out to deliver affordable Windows-powered tablets – or rather, at least one, with the unannounced Ematic EWT716 making an appearance over at the FCC some time later this week.

The Ematic EWT716 will be powered by a quad-core Intel Atom 1.3GHz processor, sport a 7” IPS display at 1024 x 600 resolution, carries both front-facing and rear cameras, has 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory that can be further expanded using a microSD memory card, all of it having a 2,800mAh battery powering it. Since it has already appeared over on the FCC, this can only mean one thing – the final release to the masses is not too far away.
