Motorola does seem intent to move forward in the smartphone industry, with their latest release being the Moto E that has managed to make its way to the news in recent times because of rumors. We all know that where there is no fire, there ain’t gonna be any smoke, so it was more or less imminent that the Moto E is finally revealed in its glory.

The Moto E would target the value segment, where this unique device might just price ordinary feature phones out of the market, being an entry level smartphone which will cost just $129, unlocked, now how about that? As for its hardware specifications, it packs quite a decent punch at that price point.

We are looking at a dual-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, a 5MP camera at the back, a microSD memory card slot that offers up to 32GB storage space, a high-resolution 4.3” display with 256ppi, Corning Gorilla Glass and a water-resistant splash guard, alongside a long-lasting 1980 mAh battery that ought to help you go through the day without charging. Oh yeah, did we mention that Android 4.4.2 KitKat would accompany the Moto E right out of the box alongside a guaranteed upgrade? Life is good.
