Kyocera Torque Goes Through The FCC

Published

on

You know what they say, a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet. Here we are with the Kyocera Torque that was previously spotted, and it has just gone through the FCC under a different moniker – that of the Kyocera E6710. There were a bit of details which was revealed by the folks over at the FCC after giving their nod of approval for the Torque, and those include LTE, NFC, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.

Other than that, the remaining features, well, remain (pun not intended) a mystery, but we do know that the Kyocera E6710/Torque will roll out as a rugged smartphone. It will carry cameras in front and at the back, and will in all probability have a 800 x 480 resolution display with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in tow. No idea on pricing, but this should clearly be on the minds of budget-minded folks out there.
