Motorola Droid RAZR And Droid RAZR MAXX Gets Jelly Bean Update

Assuming you are an owner of the Motorola Droid RAZR and the Droid RAZR MAXX, then you might be in for a treat this holiday season. It seems that owners of either one (or both, who knows) handset have reported that they have already started to receive a Christmas present from Motorola, where different reports point to an Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware update that offers a way to keep the first generation DROID RAZR family last longer in the market.

Basically, the update is said to be rather large in size especially when it is an Over The Air (OTA) download, and you can expect a bunch of improvements such as Google Now and Project Butter, where the latter is said to enhance the user experience on your smartphone, while giving ageing hardware a new pair of legs to run longer. Verizon has remained quiet on this update for both devices, and if you haven’t received it yet, why not perform a manual check?
