The Acer Iconia W510 was officially announced just a few days ago, where it sported an Intel Atom Clover-based processor that came alongside 2GB RAM and a 32GB SSD for your portable storage needs, in addition to a 10.1” display. Well, we are glad to say that the Acer Iconia W510 has gained approval from the FCC, which means it should be able to meet its announced November 9th release date, with a $500 price point attached to it to boot.

There is one thing about this Windows 8-powered tablet – it will run on a 7300mAh battery which hopefully, will be able to keep to the promised 9-hour battery life that Acer claims. Since it has received the nod of approval from the FCC, seeing the Acer Iconia W510 hit the market at the beginning of November would mean it should work as planned. Keep your fingers crossed for a smooth launch!
