Chinese mobile device manufacturer ZTE, has begun showing off its upcoming V96 Android tablet. Although there is still no news with regards to what the tablet will sell for or even when it will hit retailers’ shelves, we do have some specifications that indicate that this tablet is one to keep an eye on. The ZTE V96 will come with a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, a 10-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage space, and it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Besides that, it is said to come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI output, Dolby audio, a 5MP rear-facing camera with auto-focus and a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats. If you are thinking at this point that the only possible connectivity option is Wi-Fi, you are mistaken since the V96 comes with support for a range of networks that include HSPA+ and 4G LTE bands 2, 4, 5 and 17. This goes to say that the tablet (when it lands for the US market) will be able to work on AT&T’s LTE network but not on Verizon’s.
