Toshiba Excite 13 Flaunts its Stuff for the FCC

Having heard about the behemoth of a tablet coming over to the States prior to this article, it comes as no surprise that it has been spotted at the FCC. The Toshiba Excite 13 went through the motions for the detail-oriented folks over there and it seems to have made its way out just fine. For now, the rumors state that it will hit retail shelves around June but there has been no official announcement yet.

Just to remind you about what this gigantic tablet brings to the table (pardon the pun), it packs an apt 13.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels on a traditional TFT display, a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 4 SRS Speakers and it will ship in 2 different storage sizes, 32GB or 64GB. The OS it is running seems to be Ice Cream Sandwich and it if it were anything else, that would definitely be an unwanted surprise, it is 10.1 mm thick and weighs in at 2.2 pounds.

If the word about the internet is to be believed, when it hits retailers in June, it will cost $649.99 for the 32GB tablet and $749.99 for the 64GB one. Is that a little pricey for you or are you still itching to take your entire wallet and throw it at Toshiba for this beast of a tablet?
