Awhile ago in March, we saw Huawei’s Prism take a stroll through the conveyor belt in the FCC. The listing showed that the smartphone was compatible with T-Mobile’s network. While we were not informed as to when the phone would definitely land for the carrier, it seems that some T-Mobile documents have leaked out that indicate the smartphone might be revealed on May 6th. After it launches for T-Mobile, it was be available for sale on Best Buy on the same day followed by its release at Wal-Mart 3 days later on May 9th.

From that point on, it will apparently be available to “all other sales channels” on May 23rd. The Prism 3G as it will be called will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread on a device that runs a 600MHz processor. It will feature a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, 512MB of internal storage, a 2GB microSD card, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, 1400 mAh battery and a 3.2MP rear facing snapper for all your photography related needs. While this is still not yet confirmed, if the documents that were allegedly leaked are anything to go by, we don’t really have long to wait.
