T-Mobile SGH-T999 Spotted During Galaxy S3 Hands-On Video

We’ve been noticing the model number SGH-T999 pop up several times since January and each time it does, there are speculations that in the beginning led to the device being T-Mobile’s version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, after that it was the Galaxy Blaze 4G. Now however, a hands-on video for the Samsung Galaxy S3 by the folks over at Android Police highlighted a feature called Allplay that is on the device. During the video the model number T999 was listed among the devices present there.

The reason why the T999 number wasn’t linked with the Galaxy Nexus was because unlike the requirements of Allplay, the Nexus isn’t ‘Wi-Fi Direct’ or ‘DLNA’ enabled. This is the best piece of evidence that suggests this T-Mobile model number is an indication of the carrier’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S3. Of course since the carrier hasn’t announced any such plans in that vein, this is still nothing official and should be taken with a pinch of salt. If you want to watch the full hands-on video, it is embedded above, but for a quick look at the part containing the alleged picture, you can skip to 5:53. Kudos to the person who noticed this.
