Sony Xperia Arc and Neo Android 4.0 Update Starts Rolling Out

Sony has finally made the announcement that the Xperia Arc and Neo Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update has started rolling out to users today. The devices will be updated to Android 4.0.4 with the kernel remaining at 2.6.32. In addition to this truly exciting news, other 2011 Xperia handset owners will also have their share of excitement. For the Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V and Xperia Ray; handsets which have already been running Android 4.0.3, the Android 4.0.4 update will also soon be available to you. One reader of the XperiaBlog sent a screenshot taken of his Xperia Neo V with the updated firmware build number 4.1.B.0.431 that clearly shows that it is now running Android v 4.0.4.
