SCH-S759 Samsung Windows Phone gets Certification for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

It seems a Samsung device that is still pretty much unknown has received its required certification for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The smartphone that is just called the SCH-S759 apparently supports CDMA networks and is said to be running Windows Phone 7.5. Given that we recently saw Samsung’s newly released Samsung Omnia M Windows Phone device, this one could be the CDMA variant of that one, but that is just speculation. For now, not much is known about the mysterious device except for what we have already stated above.

For a more detailed explanation of the device’s certification, it will have support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n in the 2.4GHz band (no 5GHz support here), and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. In addition to that, the folks over at Blog of Mobile have played around with some information and guesswork and this resulted in the speculation that the device could be headed to China Telecom which is the country’s only CDMA-based carrier. Regardless of the run-around that Samsung is giving us with this device now, it has to be launched some time, so when it does get its reveal, we will be sure to keep you updated about it.
