While we have all been flooded to the next with news about the Samsung Galaxy S3 which is brilliant by the way, another device from the South Korean company has started to inch its way to the limelight. It has been awhile since Samsung launched a Windows Phone with the Focus S and Flash that got their attention robbed with the launches of the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Galaxy Nexus which some are still touting as the best Android device ever. This leak however indicated that there is another device from Samsung that makes use of the Windows Phone OS codenamed Mandel.

The model number for the purported device is SGH-i667 and it passed through the FCC in March along with some AT&T branding. But reports are saying that it was scrapped before it was ready to hit stores. For now, not much is known about the shiny white device besides information about its capacity obtained from a screenshot from the Zune software. Hopefully, we will be able to find out more about the device and who knows what can happen if Samsung decides to dabble more with the Windows Phone OS just a few days after LG made the decision to take a tiny step back away from the OS in favor of Android.
