If you have been keep up to date with the news here on Uberphones, you would probably already know that when the Samsung Galaxy S3 launches, customers who purchase the latest Samsung flagship device will also receive a Dropbox storage package which will give them 50GB of cloud-based storage on the service. Now apparently, it seems that Samsung has also struck the same deal with Dropbox with regards to its Galaxy Tab 2. The promotion which lasts only for 2012 this year will apply for both the 7-inch and the 10.1-inch models.

If you are the type of person that would prefer to store everything you own on your device, this special promotion is definitely what you’re looking for and it is definitely a good move on Samsung’s part. Although this promotion only lasts until year runs its course, if you purchase the Galaxy Tab 2 tablets next year, you will still qualify for the 2GB free account and once this year’s promotion has ended, current users will be given a 3GB package for free unless they choose to get the paid upgrade to maintain their hefty 50GB quota.
