Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 Will be Upgradable to Android 4.0 ICS According to Promo Video

Samsung recently announced the follow-up to its mid-range Galaxy Ace smartphone in the form of the Galaxy Ace 2. In the promo video that is embedded above, you can see that the device is apparently upgradable to Android’s latest OS, Ice Cream Sandwich. For now, the Ace 2 runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but if the video is anything to go by, it seems that Sammy has the intentions to roll out an upgrade that will allow users to upgrade their devices to the latest OS.

With that said however, we still don’t have an estimated time of its arrival. In addition to that, the device features an 800MHz dual-core NovaThor processor and since ICS devices such as the Galaxy Beam and the Galaxy S Advance are powered by the same SoC, the safe money is on the fact that the Ace 2 is capable of the OS bump as well. If you are interested in the Galaxy Ace 2, we will definitely keep you posted on anything that happens on this front.
