Rovio to Fix Angry Birds for Lumia 610

There have been reports around the internet stating that Rovio’s original Angry Birds is not running as well as it should be on Nokia’s Lumia 610. Along with other titles like Tango Video Calls and Skype, the game also seems to not run on the device due to the limited amount of RAM which is at 256MB. According to Microsoft, the problem does exist but it isn’t unsolvable and Rovio agrees. The developer company behind the popular Angry Birds franchise is apparently working on a 256MB optimized version for the Lumia 610 along with other low-end Windows Phones.

According to Heidi Lemmetyinen, Editor-In-Chief at Nokia Conversations, “The Rovio team is currently bringing Angry Birds Lumia 610 for the optimized version. Yet is it not there available to the public, but we’ve known about this. We will notify you, of course as soon as possible.” With this latest development and the translated comment by Lemmetyinen which might have lost some meaning during translation, how long do users have to wait for other titles to get the same treatment especially for high profile applications like Skype?
