Pebble Blue Samsung Galaxy SIII Delayed?

Published

on

The recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy SIII has been rumored to have hit a road block of sorts. This news comes from a Dutch site; tweakers.net (via GottaBeMobile). According to the report, Samsung has had to destroy 600,000 back covers for the ‘pebble blue’ version of the Galaxy SIII due to an “unknown production error”. If this is true, it might only be affecting certain markets since UK retailers still seem to have the device in stock. On the other hand, it looks like some places may have to deal with the delay that could reportedly last into June.

Naturally, this is just a rumor so it isn’t a reason to get concerned. Until Samsung comes out in the open and acknowledges this issue, it is really no reason to be alarmed. Have you been looking forward to the Samsung Galaxy SIII? We wish we could give you more information and the answers to the burning questions about whether the LTE capable SIIIs will ship with the quad-core Exynos processor or a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. Until then, please take this information with a pinch of salt.
