LG’s 2GB RAM Optimus LTE2 May Be Heading to Verizon

Earlier this month, we reported about LG’s new Optimus LTE2 smartphone that comes packed with a massive 2GB of RAM. While we couldn’t give you a date as to when the device would be hitting American markets we may have some news on that front today. A bit of new documentation has revealed that LG is currently working on a variation of the smartphone with the model number VS930 that could be heading towards Verizon.

Before we proceed anymore, it would be good to tell you that this rumor comes with a huge dose of optimism because the VS930 model number appeared in a GCF listing that actually suggests that the device could be headed for Europe. Where we speculate that the smartphone might be headed to Verizon on the other hand is because of the ‘VS’ prefix that is attached to the device. While that might be a bit of a long shot, it doesn’t hurt to have a bit of hope to see the 2GB RAM smartphone hitting US markets sooner rather than later. But until we get something a little more concrete or official, we’ll just have to take this bit of news with a pinch of salt.
