LG Sells Over 3 Million LTE Phones

LG seems to be taking its battle with other manufacturers very seriously and it seems that the South Korean company has come into the fray with no holds barred this time around. The company has just announced that it has hit a landmark for the company by selling over 3 million LTE-equipped smartphones since the manufacturer launched the Revolution on Verizon’s LTE network last year. Of course, to LG this is a landmark but in comparison to a few Apple smartphones as well as a certain phablet which allegedly hit 5 million sales, it might not sound so impressive.

With that said however, most of the LTE-related sales come from the US and South Korea and besides those two markets, LG only has LTE-capable devices in eight other markets. According to the company, two things will be changing in that respect before the year ends. The first of it is that it will have LTE-capable devices in 20 markets as opposed to its current 10 and the second is that it is sure its upcoming LG Optimus LTE 2 will be spurring its LTE-related numbers far and beyond what it is now. Nevertheless, it seems congratulations are in order here, so Kudos LG and please work on bringing more spectacular smartphones to markets around the world.
