With many rumors recently suggesting that the next iPhone will be featuring a larger screen that is said to be 4-inches, there have also been speculations that the phone will be having a taller screen due to the fact that many users still like the width of the current iPhone. From these rumors, the folks over at MacRumors commissioned Ciccarese Design to produce some high quality mockups of what such a device that has a larger screen which just entails a taller iPhone and not a wider one looks like. With the taller iPhone, it would include one row to the iPhone’s home screen that will allow five rows of icons per page as opposed to the current four rows excluding the icons pinned in the dock at the bottom of the screen.

With the latest measurement increment, it means the diagonal dimension of the screen will be increased from 3.5-inches to 4-inches while maintaining its current width. On top of that, it will add 11mm to the overall height of the next-gen iPhone. If this mockup is anything to go by, the new iPhone’s body will measure in at approximately 125mm, which is 10mm taller than the iPhone 4S with the spacing and components above and below the display staying about the same. What do you think about this latest mockup about what could be the next-gen iPhone?
