HTC Sensation XL Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update Now Rolling Out

Apparently, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the HTC Sensation XL Droid has been quietly hitting devices around the world. We aren’t too sure the extent to which the update has currently reached so we want to inform users who read this article to check if they’re devices have received the update or not.

A reader from GSMArena sent it some screenshots of his Sensation XL that received the update to Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and it does seem very pretty. Of course, it wouldn’t be a HTC update if it didn’t have its Sense overlay which will come in version 3.6. For a phone that was below the top-end range of smartphones even in 2011, it seems to be getting some good treatment. For now, we’ve heard about reports of some folks in Pakistan, Lebanon and UK getting their update.
