HTC One V Coming to the US this Summer

The impressive HTC One range of smartphones is yet to show up in the US in its entirety. Now, we’ve just received information that the HTC One V will be arriving Stateside later this summer. Although nothing official has come our way as to when or at which carriers it will be featured, what they did say is that it will arrive for a “variety” of carriers based in the US. If you have forgotten what the HTC One V brings to the table in terms of specifications, it will come with a 3.7-inch WVGA display, a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, a 5MP rear-facing camera.

The entry level smartphone looks beautiful but it is nowhere near its more expensive older brothers, the One X and One S. The One V will however be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich so users will not have to go through the nail-biting wait for the upgrade. As for HTC’s part in the OS, the ICS on the device will get its Sense 4.0 UI overlay. For now, we are not sure as to which colors of the phone will make it to America but we are hoping both, the purple and the black phones will ship to the country. Until something official comes our way, it seems that all we can do is just take the information with a pinch of salt.
