HTC Amaze 4G Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update Now Available

T-Mobile HTC Amaze 4G users who have been expectantly waiting for their slice of Ice Cream Sandwich to come by after the carrier announced that it would be coming round on May 21 might have their wish come through. Many users have reported that the software is now available and it bumps up the software on your phone to Android version 4.0.3. Besides that, it apparently includes a handful of tweaks and fixes which include improved battery life and text input.

The full changelog from T-Mobile shows, Android version 4.0.3 / Software version 2.14.531.3710RD, Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC Sense 3.6 UI, system bar enhancements to easily view recent apps, re-sizeable widgets, lock screen actions including pull down notifications and adjust volume while device is locked, data usage controls, face unlock, home screen folders, improved battery life, improved text input and spell checking and finally, an improved menu structure. If you haven’t already updated the software on your phone, head to Menu > Settings > About Phone > HTC Software Updates > Check Now.
