Google Starts Selling Accessories for HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus via Google Play

Awhile back, Google started selling its Nexus smartphone via the Google Play Store. Now however, it seems that the company has taken things a step further in that direction by introducing a range of accessories for that very HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus that it also hawks. In addition that, the accessories that are featured in the Google Play Store, aren’t third-party inventory, but official accessories from Google itself. US shoppers will be able to buy the Desktop Dock, the HDMI Portrait Dock or the Vehicle Dock whether you’re looking to get it by itself or along with the smartphone.

If you’re looking to use it with the Verizon edition, it will apparently not work with the range of accessories here so the advice that we can give you is not to try it at all. The accessories cost between $49 and $54 and the range reinforces the notion that Google is taking things more seriously this time around. Nevertheless we can only wait and see if the upcoming rumored Nexus tablets will be featured here when they come out. The safe money is on the fact that they will.
