Galaxy Nexus 4.0.4 IMM76K Update Rolling Out in Small Batches

Just yesterday, we reported that users of the Galaxy Nexus will be getting their update to version 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich for their beloved device. However, we mentioned that it was only going out to a small group of users. Now however, it seems that we have been told that it isn’t just for a few users but it is being released to different groups in small batch sizes. For now, most people are reported to not have access to the update yet but there are a few in that number which claim otherwise; according to Twitter anyway.

With that said however, we think that the update should be reaching you sooner rather than later, so make sure you to hit up the settings menu in your Galaxy Nexus and give it a whirl. To refresh your memory, if you want to check for the update that will bump your mobile OS up to Android version 4.0.4, you have to go to your ‘Settings’ menu, followed by your ‘About Phone’ selection, and then just click on ‘System Updates’.
