If you have been waiting for an affordable yet decent tablet, many options have cropped up over the last two months. Now apparently Digilink is readying another one for that category which is to be launched soon. The folks over at NetbookNews provided a video that was taken at the manufacturer’s booth at an event and briefly explains the specs as well as first impressions that were encountered with the tablet. The Digilink tablet with the model number DI-807H packs a 1.2GHz Boxchip A10 processor (with a Mali 400 GPU), 512MB of RAM, 4GB NAND flash storage, an 8-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen that has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, and a microSD card slot that can expand the memory up to 32GB.

Besides that, the tablet which is only 11.9mm thin is powered by a hefty 5600mAh battery along with other features such as Mini-USB, Mini HDMI, 0.3MP front-facing camera and a 2MP rear-facing one, the standard 3.5mm audio jack and a built-in accelerometer. Although the tablet will come with Wi-Fi connectivity, it doesn’t appear to have either 3G of Bluetooth capability on it. For now, the tablet only has the model number DI-807H and is yet to receive a model name. In addition to that, the only information that has been received with regards to pricing is that the tablet; when ordered in bulk (500 units) brings the cost of $93 each. Based on that figure, certain parties have extrapolated the profits that can be made from it and have estimated that the DI-807H tablet will retail at about $120.
