If you own a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus, you will be glad to know that the carrier finally went about updating its page and this time, it contains information that you will be happy about. It seems that the IMM76K Android 4.0.4 update that has been long-awaited by users will be coming to users over the next few days after Verizon just approved it. The update will come to users’ devices via the normal over-the-air (OTA) method and all of you using the device in question will receive a notification to alert you that the update is ready.

The changes are minor and don’t contain many prominent tweaks. Most of the update is basically bug fixes for features like the email, text messaging and the calendar. Reportedly, the file for the software update is under 40MB and should not take more than just a few minutes to download (depending on your network speed) and just a few more minutes to install. So do let us know if you’ve already received your update that will bump your OS up to version 4.0.4 with a comment below.
