Twitter for iOS and Android Gets Update

After quite a while since it last saw an update, micro-blogging site Twitter have finally rolled out a new and updated version of its iOS and Android mobile applications. The update brings features like enhancements to the ‘Discover’ and ‘Search’ section and also to notifications within the application. Twitter have simplified the ‘search’ function and now it suggests spelling and related terms of what is being typed in real time.

This goes to say that finding people to tag or things to hashtag can now be made easier with it even including an ‘auto-complete’ feature filled by Twitter users that you follow. Finally, the long awaited push notifications have been added to the new app which will allow users to instantly know about any update related to your Twitter account. The new Twitter application for iOS and Android devices are free for download from the iTunes App Store as well as the Google Play Store.
