Temple Run for Android Hits More Than 5 Million Downloads

Temple Run, the famous game where an animated “Indiana Jones” runs through temple ruins with an idol in his hand has hit a new milestone for its Android application. After passing the million downloads mark within its first week of launching, it has now hit more than 5 million downloads not including the 50 million downloads it already has on iOS platforms.

This new accomplishment puts the app above Angry Birds Space Premium but it is still way behind the free Angry Birds Space app which has noted a number between 10 and 50 million downloads so far. Although the people responsible for the app have tried to make it work across all Android devices, some users still report that their phones which are supposedly compatible with the app, don’t work. However, from what we can see given the few updates that were released right after the game was launched, the developer, Imangi Studios is putting all their time into remedying this situation.
