Yesterday, T-Mobile put up a teaser of a new ad campaign that showed Carly, its spokeswoman throwing on a leather outfit and getting on a motorcycle. Now apparent the ad is out and T-Mobile has explained the elements in the advertisement. The advertisement which lasts a minute shows Carly sieving through her magenta dresses and gowns after which she decides to squeeze into a leather jumpsuit. She then gets on a Ducati motorcycle and takes to the streets with an illuminate tagline that says “No More Mr Nice Girl”.

Peter DeLuca, Senior VP of T-Mobile explained that the bike is meant to symbolize speed and capabilities of the carrier’s HSPA+ 4G network while the ad itself is a metaphor for the carrier which apparently is said to be challenging the status quo and taking bold steps in the marketplace as a challenger brand. Apparently, this Carly ad is the first of a series in conjunction with a brand re-launch for the carrier which is said to go down sometimes this fall. On top of that, T-Mobile also announced a “Test Drive” website that will allow customers to try out the carrier’s network and compare it with other carrier’s networks. If you want to give the website which has just gone ‘Live’ a while back a whirl, just click here and also, let us know what you think about the advertisement which is embedded above for your viewing pleasure.
