T-Mobile Will Update HTC One S to Solve Battery Issues

Published

on

After just a short while, the HTC One S launched by T-Mobile has received many complaints with regards to an issue of battery drainage. This has effectively thrown a wrench into the works of the significant amount of users that use Wi-Fi calling to save on data charges. A statement from the carrier shows that it has acknowledged the issue and an update containing a fix is currently in the works.

While proffering no official time as to when users can expect to see the update, T-Mobile has instead decided to ‘advise’ users to keep their device plugged-in while on Wi-Fi calls. Of course this might be a little inconvenient for many people but as the kinks get ironed out and distributed via the update, a bit of advice from the carrier acknowledging the issues seems to be a bit better than if they ignored the widespread outcry and worked on the update in silence.
