A study that was conducted by ‘The Small Business Authority’ has revealed that 28% of 1,100 independent business owners used a tablet to carry out the business-related duties as opposed to notebooks (19%) and desktop computers (17%). From the same study it also found out that the amount of independent entrepreneurs who were looking to buy tablets was a respectable 45% followed by those who wanted to buy notebooks at 41% and lastly a lowly 14% of whom were looking to buy a desktop computer.

This report is the latest evidence that seems to point in the direction which current businesses seem to be heading in. DisplaySearch recently said that one in four small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) was looking to adopt the more portable tablet. Other online reports have stated that the corporate demand for tablets is set to grow five times by 2016. If you use a tablet for your work related tasks, do leave a comment as to why you prefer doing so rather than using a notebook or desktop computer.
