Sprint Announces New HTC EVO 4G LTE

On Wednesday, Sprint announced the new HTC EVO 4G-LTE. This device is the latest to the few already offered by Sprint that will run on the blazing fast 4G-LTE speeds offered by the carrier. Sprint CEO, Dan Hassle said during the launch at New York City that the super-fast smartphone will set a standard of gold in the era of multimedia experience.

The HTC EVO 4G runs the latest Qualcomm dual-core Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz processor with a display of 4.7” and is backed up by the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and bedazzled with a 8MP camera packed with state-of-the-art features such as picture taking while recording video. Sprint will be offering the device at $199.99 on a 2 year contract. The carrier has announced that pre-ordering will begin on May 7th and the handsets will be available within Q2 of this year in cities such as Atlanta, Dallas, Baltimore, Kansas City, San Antonio and Houston.
