Samsung Galaxy S3 to Keep Home Button [Rumor]

Here are a few more rumors originating from Korean media which has again cited an anonymous source within the company about the Samsung Galaxy S3. The first one is that the upcoming Samsung flagship will retain its ‘home’ button after a discussion was had within Samsung itself as to whether to remove it or not. And apparently, the source said that the decision was left right down to the last minute before it went into production to keep the button.

Reportedly, Google has been pushing for a touch interface like on the Galaxy Nexus as opposed to the ‘home’ button but if these rumors are true; it seems that Samsung has gone another way. The second rumor is that the phone will have rows of 5 apps like on the Galaxy Note instead of 4 and this indicates a larger screen if it is true. The final rumor that comes from our South Korean source is that the long awaited flagship product will be released as early as May.

Everything so far that we have heard and seen about the upcoming product has been based on rumors with different degrees of credibility and like everyone else, we’ll just have to wait for the phone which seems to be shrouded by an impenetrable wall of secrecy to come out officially and have a look for ourselves. Until then, we won’t stop providing you with whatever rumors we hear about the much anticipated smartphone.
