It looks like another couple of rumors have surfaced with regards to the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S III. Samsung’s latest and upcoming flagship handset is one of the more shrouded objects which is only rivaled by the mystery surrounding the upcoming Apple iPhone 5. The first rumor is from a Korean publication called DDaily which says that the Galaxy S III will have a 4.65” AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and that it will not be using a PenTile configuration.

According to the folks over at IntoMobile, this means that the phone will have an ultra sharp display with smooth text that will prove truly beautiful. Meanwhile, the second rumor is from another Korean publication called AsiaE and it claims that local operators are already testing the much awaited and drooled over Android smartphone.

Our friends over at IntoMobile say that since testing usually takes two months, if the rumor is true, it would mean that Samsung want to have the Galaxy S III out by the end of May which is consistent with last year’s S II that hit Korean markets in late April and went global by May. Although all this rumors are likened to a piece of pie to indulge in, we cannot stress enough that these are just rumors and nothing more so please take them with a pinch of salt and don’t even think about buying a handset based on what rumors have come to your ears (or eyes in this case).
