Samsung’s gamble with their Galaxy Note ‘phablet’ has paid off judging simply by the fact that it has sold 5 million units since it was released. From the foundations laid from the Note’s popularity, Samsung intended to release a tablet named Galaxy Note 10.1 which was unveiled in Barcelona with an unknown release date.

Now however, it seems that the South Korean electronics giant has pushed back the rumored date to June because it was apparently not happy with the 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processor. According to sources, the new Galaxy Note 10.1 is said to be fitted with a 1.5 quad-core Exynos 4412 processor. With Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2s (10.1 and 7.7-inches) coming out soon, this would be a positive move if people were looking for the S-Pen feature which will present itself with the rumored Galaxy Note 10.1 and for those who are not, the rumored Galaxy Tab 2 will suffice.
