Rezound, Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX to get ICS[Rumor]

Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX owners were disappointed to hear that their devices wouldn’t be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update yesterday and since the news was in the same vein as that of the HTC Rezound, owners of the HTC device were equally heartbroken. Now however, it seems that HTC Rezound owners will in fact be unaffected by Best Buy’s announcement that the update for the RAZR and RAZR MAXX has been delayed further and will reportedly be getting the update they long for.

On a side note, although Motorola has not officially acknowledged an Ice Cream Sandwich update for the RAZR and RAZR MAXX, there are rumors circulating that the update will be released next week. In the event that Motorola does pull through and no bugs cause a delay, there is a chance that both the Motorola devices will also be seeing the new OS. If you find it a bit weird that the ones making announcements about updates is ‘Best Buy’ and not Motorola, do leave us a comment about why you think the company chooses to remain silent.
