Motorola RAZR HD Surfaces in China

There have been rumors of the next installment of the Motorola RAZR which is said to be landing with a HD display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. In a post by Android Community, the picture above is apparently that exact device which showed up in China. The print on the top left of the device in the picture is a China Mobile logo. Despite the blurry cam treatment that the device received, it clearly shows that the phone is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Reports indicate that the phone has a 4-inch screen with a 720p display and Galaxy Nexus-like capacitive on-screen buttons.

The device is said to be heading for China along with the same hardware specs found on previous RAZR phones except for the screen and the above mentioned OS. For the folks Stateside though, you will be getting the Droid Fighter which is similar to this device except for a few differences: it has a 4.6-inch display, a front-facing camera for video chat and a RAZR MAXX sized battery but it will be running on the same 1.2GHz dual-core CPU. After many rumors of the Droid Fighter’s release, it is still yet to land but with this leaked picture springing up who knows what will happen next but one thing that is certain is that given the HTC Droid Incredible 4G and the Droid Fighter rumors, Verizon has something up its sleeve and we might see announcements to clarify these rumors soon enough.
