The Motorola Droid 4 is set to get its first update since the smartphone was launched by Verizon on its 4G LTE network in February this year. The update which was discovered by the folks over at Droid-Life is set to bring a number or enhancements and fixes to Big Red’s iconic smartphone. The main change that comes along with the update that is to be rolled out is an improved battery life which is an addition that seems to be coming along with almost all Android updates nowadays. Besides that, the update will also bring fixes for the backlight on the keyboard and improvements to Wi-Fi connectivity. There are also quite a few other things that will be tweaked in the 18MB update which can be seen from the picture above. All in all, like any day where your beloved device gets an update, it can’t exactly be a bad day.
