IndieDevLab Offers Alternative to WWDC

Published

on

After the brisk sales for Apple’s WWDC tickets 2 days ago which found it all sold out in just two hours, developers from Monster Costumer Kyle Kinkade and Nate True along with another developer from JailbreakCon, Craig Fox hurriedly began organizing a way for iOS and OS X developers to gather outside of the WWDC venue at Moscone for a Hackaton named IndieDevLab. The even brings with it a community-powered lab space with high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and peer support just a few blocks away from the Moscone Center.

As Kinkade puts it, it is a perfect spot to allow developers to meet up, tweet up and get their development on. A 3-day long hackathon remix wild add some spice to the festivities and Kinkade has told the folks over at TUAW that tickets will go on sale at 12PM Pacific so that West Coast developers will have enough time to sleep in. If you want to get in on the fun you can register immediately for $129/day with a $8 fee with early bird tickets attached with a price tag of $99.
