HTC Incredible 4G Surfaces in Leak

Up to now, not much has been known about the upcoming HTC Incredible 4G smartphone that is rumored to be landing at Verizon soon. The folks over at AndroidPolice claim that they have a trustable source that is apparently in the know about the device behind the scenes over at Verizon. The specifications while not complete are the only information that could be allegedly obtained by the source.

The Incredible 4G will have a 4-inch display with qHD resolution, 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, 8MP rear snapper with zero shutter lag, a VGA front camera for video chat, Near Field Communications (NFC), Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL), Beats support but no headphones included, LTE and finally Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with an overlay of HTC Sense 4.0.

According to AndroidPolice, nothing about the specs is confirmed and it should therefore be taken with a pinch of salt. On top of that, PocketNow today posted a leaked press shot of the photo (pictured above) so we should be seeing the HTC Incredible 4G hitting Verizon’s shelves fairly soon. The interesting thing about that picture is that instead of the regular 4 buttons at the bottom, it has followed the HTC One line’s styling with just 3.

But back to the anonymous source from Android Police, he also apparently said that the device is “very light”, sports a raised power button, gunmetal sides akin to the HTC Rezound and an interchangeable back. While there is no official word on pricing as yet, the tipster suggested that the device would be released on a two-year contract for anything between $99 and $149.
